SOO HEE GETS HER PERM

The day FINALLY arrived! Soo Hee gets to get her hair done!  And who did she ask to go with her? ME! Molly gave me the money (which is Soo Hee's money), and we were on our way to the beauty parlor.  But first, of course we have to bundle up Soo Hee - it's still very cold here in Korea!

We went to a salon that Molly goes to, and the woman has also been doing Soo Hee's hair for years.  She even has a special drier that can be used on Soo Hee since she's confined to a wheelchair.

Soo Hee was so excited when the hairdresser was putting her hair in rollers! Once the rollers were all in, the special heated hat went on Soo Hee's head.  After a little while, Soo Hee looked very uncomfortable.  I was afraid something was going wrong! Maybe it was burning her head? And then Soo Hee looked right at me and said, "HOT!" I had no idea she knew that English word!

Eventually the rollers came off, and Soo Hee giggled with excitement! she now had the curls she wanted!
