Last weekend was the Lotus Lantern Festival here in Seoul. They have a huge parade, and lots of lanterns! It's a festival in honor of Budda and for his upcoming birthday on Friday, May 21st. Budda's birthday is a national holiday, so there will be no school or business conducted on that day. But not everything will be closed like on Christmas or New Year's Day.
