I saw this article in the Korea Times and thought it was interesting! A huge difference between Koreans and Americans.
In America it's all about who can look the most tan in the summer...in Korea it's all about who can look the palest!
It can be 80 degrees out (with the humidity it feels more like 90 degrees) and you'll see women wearing pants with long sleeve shirts!
And if you haven't seen this picture I posted before...Koreans will stop at nothing to get absolutely NO SUN on their faces!
Ah, the irony! At least their skin cancer rates may tend to be low! :)
