ANNIVERSARY FUNDRAISER

Saturday Martin and I went with Molly to the city of Haman, located east of Seoul.  There was a fundraiser for a Holt Care Facility.  It was celebrating its 5th year of service, so of course in true Korean fashion; some speakers, a banner, some music, and a ribbon cutting ceremony.

For the ribbon cutting, they bring out white gloves for everyone to wear along with a pair of scissors.  Molly wore her Hanbok dress, and you can see Dr. Cho (last on the right) attended as well.

The care facility has a low income daycare center, so parents can work from 8am - 6pm.  And several Holt social workers to provide information and resources for people struggling.  It's amazing to see all of the facets of Holt.  They truly are doing amazing work in Korea!

Many items are donated to Holt, and for this event; they sold some of the items at discounted prices to raise money for the facility.  They do get some government money to help as well.

Lots of things for the kiddos to do today as well...

And of course I can't pass up any opportunity to get pictures of babies!!!

Even if he does have a mouth full of food...
