YEOUIDO PARK

Saturday I went to Yeouido Park in search of some beautiful cherry blossom trees.  I was probably about 3 or 4 days too late.  They were pretty, but had lost a lot of petals.

There are these street vendor everywhere - selling nuts, cooked bugs (no joke), and squid.

There was a LARGE Girl Scout event going on in the park... I love that they come to these events with a activity type rug, and they take their shoes off and sit.

I love the trust Koreans have in this big city...no one takes your unattended things...

Across the street from the park, is KBS the largest television station in South Korea.  Their facility puts ANY American t.v. station to SHAME! Their facility is about the size of 4 large department stores put together.

They had a fleet of about 100+ cars and vans in their parking lot.

Makes my old station in Denver with a fleet of about 16 seem ametuer.

Once again...the assorted garbage bins for paper, plastic, aluminum...
